CS2 Case Site Promo Codes: Free Cases and Bonuses

By the OPQuests team · Updated · 3 min read

Almost every CS2 case site has promo codes. Enter one and you get free cases, free balance or a bigger deposit bonus. They are the easiest way to try a site without risking your own money, as long as you know what the code actually gives you. This guide explains how CS2 promo codes work, the types you will come across, and where to find working codes.

What a CS2 promo code gives you

  • Free cases. One or more cases you can open without depositing. The most common sign-up reward.
  • Free balance. A small amount of balance to spend on cases, battles or the upgrader.
  • A deposit bonus. Extra balance on top of your deposit, usually a percentage such as 5% to 20%, and sometimes more on the first deposit only.
  • Free spins or daily rewards. Access to a daily case or wheel, often unlocked by the code or by your level on the site.

Referral codes and promo codes

Most case sites use two kinds of codes:

  • Referral or affiliate codes come from streamers, YouTubers and comparison sites like ours. They give you a sign-up reward, and the person who shared the code earns a small commission from the site. On most sites you can only have one referral code on your account, and you cannot change it later, so the first one you enter is the one that counts.
  • Limited promo codes are one-off codes with a fixed number of uses, handed out in giveaways, on social media or by partners. They often give more than a referral code, but run out quickly.

Signing up through a site's referral link usually applies its code automatically. Using a code never costs you anything extra.

How to use a promo code

  1. Sign in to the site, usually with Steam. Only sign in on the site's own domain, in a real Steam window. See how to withdraw CS2 skins safely for how to spot a fake one.
  2. Find the promo code or referral field. It is usually under your profile, the deposit page, or a "free" or "rewards" section.
  3. Enter the code and check what it unlocked.
  4. Read the conditions before you open anything.

The conditions to check

  • Wagering. Winnings from a promo code often arrive as bonus balance that has to be played through a number of times before it can be withdrawn.
  • A first deposit. Some codes only release what you won after you deposit.
  • Account requirements. A minimum Steam level, account age, a public profile, or the site's name in your Steam nickname are common.
  • One code per person. Codes are usually limited to one per account, per Steam account and per device.
  • Expiry. Free balance and unopened cases can expire.

Where to find working CS2 promo codes

Our rankings list the sign-up bonus for every site, and the Claim Bonus button opens each site through our referral link, which applies the bonus for you.

For some sites we also have limited promo codes. Filter the rankings by Has Promo Code to see them, then:

  1. Click Claim Promo Code and sign in with Steam.
  2. The code is shown to you straight away and saved in your notifications, so you can find it again later.
  3. Enter it on the site.

Each account can claim one code per site. Once they have all been claimed, the button changes to All Claimed. To see which sites give the most free cases right now, sort by Highest Bonus.

Getting the most out of a promo code

  • Use the code to test the site, including a small withdrawal, before you deposit. It tells you more than any review.
  • Spend free balance on cheap cases or low-multiplier upgrades to make it last. See CS2 case odds and the skin upgrader explained.
  • Do not deposit just to unlock a bonus you would not otherwise use.

Case sites are gambling and for adults only: 18 or over, and older in some countries. A promo code is a free way to try one, not a reason to spend more than you planned.
